- grout for tiles.
The course of work:
- First of all, it is necessary to make a cabinet itself without a top (countertops). Create a box with mounts inside for shelves, hang the doors on the hinges or make drawers - as you are more convenient. In the case of drawers, problems may arise, since communication (hot and cold water, drain) will be located inside the cabinet. Therefore, if you do not have the necessary experience or just do not want to “bother”, make ordinary shelves.
- In the back wall of the nightstand, drill holes for communications. If the pipes come from the floor, drill the bottom of the cabinet.
- Install the cabinet on the legs. By the way, the suspended cabinet differs from the floor only by fixing. The floor is based on the legs, the suspended - on the mounts in the wall. You can experiment and make the second option, screwing at least 2 strong angular mounts on each side of the nightstand.
- Now you can do the countertop itself. To make a hole under the sink in the MDF plate, you need to transfer the sink size 1: 1 to paper, cut around the circle and circle the area on the plate on the resulting “pattern”. But often when installing, the master prefer not to make unnecessary body movements, but simply turn the sink upside down, put it on the stove, circled and cut out with an electrician. - Install the countertop on the cabinet and fasten it with corner mounts from the inside. Pour the gap between the stove and the sink with silicone or any other sealant. Connect communications.
- This stage will be especially liked by creative natures, so if you have children, you can safely attach them to work! Glue the countertop and the walls of the cabinet with mosaic tiles.
- After gluing the mosaic, treat the surface with grout. Wait for drying and enjoy the fruits of your work. Such a bedside table for the sink will last you for more than one year.
