A long service life is about 50 years old - allows him to compete with the main competitors (the floor on ordinary lags, a concrete screed, dry screed).
There are several varieties of adjustable floors defined by the reference element:
- Lags - an excellent alternative to a concrete tie. Technology allows you to raise the floor level by 5 cm or higher. The remaining space can be used to layer engineering communications, additional heat insulation (if you live on the first floor) or sound insulation (if noisy neighbors live in the apartment below). Installation takes out the minimum of time and effort in the presence of all the necessary materials and the simplest tools (drill, hammer, wrenches).
- Plates - instead of lag on the lifting elements, plates are attached. At the same time, the maximum level of flooring raising is 3 cm. This method is suitable in cases if you need to quickly align the floor or insulate it. Hide down communication will not work - too little space. Only thin wires and cables are placed there - from the phone, the Internet, etc.

Advantages and disadvantages of regulated lag
Every year more innovations appear, which have plenty of advantages, but, unfortunately, only rare exceptions are devoid of flaws. Consider the same pros and cons of the use of adjustable wooden floors.
The advantages of adjustable floors:
- The design makes the surface of the floor perfectly even and eliminates any differences horizontally.
- Lags can be mounted even on the base curve.
- After mounting under the floor there is a free space of 5-25 cm, which can be used with benefit.
- For the assembly and installation you will need only a screwdriver and circular saw - no adhesive mixtures and solutions.
- You can make a smooth floor in just a few hours.
- Adjustable supports give a rigid fastening of a new flooring with a base.
- The cost of adjustable gender is almost the same as a concrete screed, that is, low.
- After installing the floor, you can immediately begin to lay the floor covering.
Determining factors in the choice of adjustable floors for many are low cost and installation of mounting.
Disadvantages of adjustable floor on lags:
- Over time, such floors begin to creak. This can be prevented at the installation stage, carefully dust the surface of the overlap after the holes are done. Another point - the dowels must be vanned to the limit so that the racks are subsequently loosened. But this will only delay the appearance of the screens. It will not be avoided due to the physical characteristics of the wood, from which lags are made - it "breathes", narrows and expands from the temperature drops, it swells and swells from moisture.
- The second minus is that if you need to raise the floor level, say, 15-20 cm, then the sound of steps will be very loud. Fix it will help the thick sound-absorbing lining and thermal insulation mats. This will increase the cost of work, but will make the floor warmer and quieter.
FEATURES OF MONTAGE
Adjustable lags can be made independently or buy a ready-made set of floors. The main thing in the design is the regulatory mechanism that allows to level the surface with absolute accuracy. Finished systems are quite expensive, and it is not always possible to find them possible, so we suggest considering the option of creating an adjustable floor on the lags with your own hands. To do this, you need the most common materials that can be found in any construction store.
There are two options for the arrangement of adjustable floors, each of which has its own nuances, but the complexity of the installation in both cases is approximately one level. Both methods give the same qualitative result if all the requirements of the technology were observed, so the choice depends on personal preferences and capabilities.
Stiletto lagows
The most common way of device adjustable floor lag. Ordinary steel studs are used as reference elements. Consider briefly the design of such floors:
- For lag, a dry pine timber with a square cross section is 50 mm.
- For adjustable support, use the M6 \u200b\u200bpin with two nuts, washers and anchor sleeves.
- Drill the hole in the concrete base of the floor and score an anchor sleeve on it. Scroll to the very end so that it is to be closed with the surface.
- Screw the bottom nut with the washer on the stud - they will be located under the lag.
- Drill in the lag a hole with a diameter of a little larger diameter of the hairpin.
- Snap a lag on the hairpin.
- Adjust the altitude of the lag behind the nut under it. When it takes the desired position, lock it, screwing the upper nut.
Before proceeding to work, make an accurate calculation of all necessary materials in accordance with the floor area. It is also necessary to prepare the room - to endure all the furniture, weakened and maximize the surface of the concrete screed.
How to make adjustable floors under lags:
- Spread the bars in parallel to each other in a step of about 30 cm to ensure adequate rigidity of the floor. If you arrange the bars further, the flooring may not withstand the load and rushing. With the arrangement of the lag, keep the retreat of the wall at 5-7 cm. First, it is more convenient to put two extreme lags, and then intermediate.
- Drill the holes in the lags under the heel, making the pre-marking with a simple pencil. Pick the drill with a diameter slightly larger diameter of the hairpin so that it is freely entered and can rotate inside the bar. Since most often for the arrangement of regulated floors in residential buildings, the M6 \u200b\u200bstud is used, the diameter of the opening should be 8 mm. Studs must be removed from each other no further than 50 cm.
- Make a circuit on the lags using the first drill, the diameter of which is several millimeters greater than the diameter of the washer. Cycovka will allow you to drown a puck with a nut in the lag and mounted the flooring as soon as possible. It is logical that the depth of the circuit must be the same or slightly more than the total thickness of the nut and the washers.
- With a drill or puncher, do the hole in the concrete screed through the timber. This will eliminate the incolment of studs and lag.
- Drink anchor struts into the holes in the screed and screw the studs there.
- Screw nuts on them, and then put on the washers.
- After installing all the studs, proceed to the installation of lag. Slide the lags in turn and adjust their height by adjusting the position with the help level. It is most convenient for this to use a laser level, but you can cope with the usual hydrorem. As a result, all lags should be removed into a single plane.

- Fasten the bars, putting on the studs of the second washers with nuts and cut the sticking ends with a grinder or hand-hacking.
- Place the thermal insulation layer and pave communication. As a heater, you can use inexpensive mineral wool, claymzite or foam.
- It remains only to attach flooring to lags with the help of a tree screws.
The most difficult and demanding moment of installation is the correct set of anchors. Since the slabs of overlappings are usually hollow, then the anchors should be taken very carefully and most firmly as possible. Constantly watch them not fall inside the plate. The process is complicated by the fact that the overlap is reinforced concrete, that is, it has an armature framework. According to the "law of meanness", very often when drilling holes under the anchor fall into fittings.
Lags in the corners
The installation of the lag at the corner is not fundamentally different from the above-described technology, except that the support elements are not studs, but steel corners. This option will be suitable if the anchor does not work in any way.
Progress:
- Check the level of the surface of the future floor.
- Spread the bars on the floor with a distance of 25-35 cm.
- Mark the lines of the location of the bars.
- At the marked lines to the concrete screed, attach steel corners at a distance of 40-50 cm. Corner size choose depending on what level you want to lift the floor. At the same time, the corner should be slightly smaller than the required lifting height, because it will also be taken into account the thickness of the flooring and finishing coating. Otherwise, you will have to cut off the extra parts of the corners.
- Attach the bars to the corners, adjusting the position with the help level.
- To increase the stiffness of the design, it is recommended to install additional corners from the opposite sides of the lag.
- Place thermal insulation and communication.
- After that, you can mount the purple floor.
The most difficult thing in this work is the installation of extreme lags that are located closest to the walls. A small distance between the wall and the lag does not allow "to turn" and fully work tools. A little smoking, you can solve this problem quite simply - fix the corner not to the screed, but to the wall. You can also skip the bar throughout the perimeter of the room, which will make the floor adjustment much easier, will make the floor stronger and reduce the working capacity.
We described how to work with wooden structures, but these technologies are not applicable for adjustable floors on metal lags.
