• poliuretan foam. It has the properties of increased wear resistance. As a filler for seats, it differs in maximum comfort. Restores the previous form and is not pushed;
• polystyrol balls. Suitable for filling soft poufs or bundles.

Do -it -yourself ottoman

Tools and materials

For work, you will need:

• 4 wheels withstand more than 80 kg;
• metal corners for furniture;
• plywood sheet of 15 mm thick;
• linoleum, segment in size 3.5x9.6 cm;
• textile. A circle with a diameter of 4.2 cm and a piece of 1.2x0.5 m;
• packaging of self -tapping screws (4x13);
• foamer as a filler (thickness 4.5 cm). Cut from it a circle with a diameter of 3.9 cm and a rectangle - 1.2 m per 3.5 cm;
• pVA glue;
• lobby;
• screwdriver;
• ruler, pencil, compass.

Manufacturing technology

The dimensions of parts that need to be cut out of the plywood sheet are indicated on the drawing below. At the same time, try to keep the jigs at right angles so that the future ottoman is stable.

1. First of all, sew a fabric cover. You can order its manufacture from a specialist, but if you know how to handle the sewing machine, then sew it yourself. At the bottom of the cover, miss the lace for the subsequent tightening of it on the finished frame.
2. Fix the plywood base for the navigation using screws screwed to the metal corners. This is shown in the figure.
3. Then attach linoleum to the plywood frame. Screw it with three self -tapping screws to each rib of plywood.                                                  
4. Glue the sheets of foam to linoleum. First of all, glue the side surfaces of the puff, then the upper side. When the foam rubber sticks and dries, turn it over and attach four wheels.

5. The frame of the navigation is ready, it remains only to put a cover on it. Do not tighten the lace tightly, since from time to time you will have to remove the laid cover.

Homemade ottoman for the hallway is ready.

Ottoman from car tire

Such an ottoman will be able to serve you for a long time with a coffee table. Its manufacture will not require large costs, since almost the entire set of tools can be assembled in a home workshop.

Tools and materials

You will need:

• car tire;
• 2 equal circles from plywood or MDF. Thickness - 6 mm, diameter - 55 cm;
• self -tapping screws;
• punch;
• glue;
• woven rope 5 m long, thick - about 10 mm;
• scissors;
• varnish.

Stages of manufacture

First, prepare the tire. Rinse it under running water and dry it. Only after that get to work.

1. Put the previously prepared circle from MDF on the tire and make 3 holes for screws in it with a perforator. Try to do so that the punch penetrates into rubber.
2. In all three holes with a screwdriver, screw the screws. Turn the tire and do the same actions on the other side.
3. Now we move on to the design of the puff. To do this, glue the end of the rope in the center of the circle from MDF.
4. With one hand, hold the rope in the center, and continue to glue the rope in the circle in a circle. Do not forget to use glue in front of each turn.                                      
5. After the entire surface of the MDF is covered, just the same pushes the side surfaces of the tire with a rope. Turn it over and wrap it until you reach the edge of the second circle.
6. When the entire surface of the tire is glued, carefully cut the rest of the rope.
7. The final stage is the application of varnish. Using a brush, cover the entire wrapped surface of the tire and wait for a while until the coating is completely dry. Homemade ottoman from the tire is ready.

Bouff of plastic bottles

There is no more suitable method of disposal of garbage than its practical use. In this case, we are talking about plastic bottles. From this recycling you can make anything, starting from a flower vase, ending with an original chandelier. We suggest you use plastic bottles to create a nuclear power plant. Stock up with bottles of lids and get to work.

Tools and materials

You will need to make an ottoman:

• approximately 40 plastic bottles of the same size;
• three -layer cardboard;
• scissors;
• scotch;
• synthetic winterizer;
• needle and threads;
• fabric for the finish of the binder;
• yarn of different colors;
• knitting needles.

Manufacturing technology

It should be noted that such an ottoman cannot withstand and breaks under a lot of weight, so you should not stand on it with your feet.

1. Understand 40 bottles with twisted lids so that there is as little empty space.
2. The result is a frame for the navigation. In the diameter of its circle, cut two circles from cardboard. Attach each circle with adhesive tape on both sides of the bottle frame, providing it with a flat top and bottom.
3. From synthetic winterizer, cut the lining for the nuclear power plant: first 2 upper circles, then a rectangle for wrapping the frame from plastic bottles.
4. When the lining are cut out, put them on the frame and sew them with threads.
5. Then a cover is made. To do this, cut the necessary parts from the fabric and sew them.
6. Put the case on the synthetic winter lining. If desired, you can tie the ottoman with multi -colored yarn.

The result is an original ottoman that is outwardly no different from the navigation with a wooden frame. Our homemade ottoman is lightweight and mobile. You can use it as a stool and as a stand for a tray.
