After disinfection, you need to wash the processing places and dry with a hairdryer. Now that the preparatory work is completed, you can start laying a plastic skirting board.
Substitution of the plinth:
- Once again, we will go along the edge of the bath and the wall with paper towels, and then a dry rag. Thoroughly wipe the places where the skirting board will adjoin. Your task is to achieve a perfectly dry surface.
- The slot must be filled with sealant, for this a spray can with a sealant (it is better to take aquarium, it will last longer) insert into the gun. Check it in action.
- Next, when the gap is filled with sealant, you need to wait 5-10 minutes when it dries. Just at this time, you can start trying on the plinth.
- Measure the desired length of the baseboard, cut the excess. The border is better cut at an angle of 45 oS. For this, use the stupor.

The subtleties of work that you need to know about

So that you successfully deal with the task, study these recommendations:
- the plastic curb is not always installed on a new bath. Most often, it has to be mounted on the old bath. The remains of soap and other pollution must first be washed with any detergent;
- when all the dirt is washed off, the surface must be thoroughly dried. To do this, use disposable paper towels. Wipe the bath until the towel is completely dry;
- do not save on paper towels, it is impossible to achieve a perfectly dry surface with a rag;
- you can fix the work with a hairdryer - direct a stream of warm air to a small area, hold a hair dryer for 30 seconds, now you can move smoothly further;
- do not forget to degrease the places of gluing the curb. To do this, use gasoline or white spirit, you can wipe the surface with alcohol. It is important to choose such a degreaser so that it does not damage the plastic panels. It is forbidden to use aggressive solvents, they can ruin the coating on the walls and an acrylic bath;
- apply glue on the entire surface so that the border will fit well to the side and wall. Try to make a continuous seam, applying a thin layer of glue. Point glue during the installation of a border from plastic is not applied;
- if the wall is not perfectly flat, and you see that in some places the curb does not fit, then such places can be additionally filled with sealant to prevent leakage.
