A rectangular product will be a good choice for a large family, since 6-8 people can accommodate it. In order to make a table, you need to prepare the following:

• wooden boards with a thickness of at least 22 mm;
• grinding machine;
• plane;
• hacksaw;
• electrician;
• furniture shield;
• sandpaper;
• milling machine;
• bolts;
• varnish;
• drill;
• massacle for painting purposes.

Step -by -step instructions for making a table

In order to make a wooden kitchen table with your own hands, you must adhere to the next sequence of actions:

1. Initially, the size of the future product should be determined, taking into account the meter of the kitchen room. In our example, it turned out 60 by 160 cm.

2. Then cut the future countertop according to the size of the table and write down the ends of the beam.
3. Let the beam on the bottom. This solution will allow the countertop to be given stiffness, otherwise the table will bend.

4. We apply a wooden fragment to the product and compare the dimensions. If everything coincides, we fix it to the countertop canvas by means of screws.
5. On the back of the product, make the marking of places for the legs.

6. Then, using an electrician, make holes and fix four legs with self -tapping screws.

7. Next, grind the surface. To do this, first clean the product with large -grained sandpaper, then proceed to repeated grinding with a fine -grained skin.
8. The edges of the table and bars should be rounded a little.
9. If there are any irregularities, it is necessary to fix them using the rubble.

10. At the next stage, polishing the table well, we cover it with varnish. It is advisable to use matte varnish. We cover in several stages.

11. After covered with the first layer, it is necessary to withstand time in order for the varnish dry.

12. After its drying, the pile will rise. We remove it by means of sandpaper and repeat the coating.

13. In the event that after applying the repeated layer, villi is preserved, you should once again go through the sandpaper and again cover the product with varnish.

14. The kitchen table is ready.

Important! Instead of metal legs, you can also use a square -shaped bars.
