The design of the chair-bag

- Inner bag on the zipper (30-40cm).
- The outer cover is on the same fastener, but longer, for convenience (about 100 cm).
- Filler for a bag-bag. It can be granules of polystyrene or polystyrene. The second is preferable, due to increased stability of the surface of the granules to crushing. Foam content will “settle” over time.

What is needed for work?
Before sewing a fur chair, purchase fabric and filler. Prepare the necessary fittings and tools.
- The material from which an internal bag will be made. It should be soft and pass the air. The old duvetel is perfect.
- Fabric, for cutting an external cover. This material should be strong and pleasant for the eye (something like a sofa upholstery or tapestry). Remember that the outer part of this design you will have to observe most of the day. Therefore: firmly and beautiful!
- Filler (polyester granules). The bag must be filled with 2/3 of the volume so that the product is not empty and not crowded. To do this, you will need 3-4 packets of polystyrene filler at 0.1 m cubic meters each.
- Two ziplonia fasteners.
- Training for patterns. Well, not necessarily tracing paper, any large paper is suitable (you can adapt posters or wallpaper residues).
- Scissors.
- Sewing machine. It is manually to sew this product for a long time and is inconvenient.
- Threads, needles, pins, chalk or soap for marking, etc.

Instructions for sewing a frameless chair-bag
- Pattern. The patterns are different, depending on the expected result (shape of the chair). The most standard option is presented in the figure below. Transfer all parts of the patterns that you see on the image, to tracing paper, withstanding the indicated size or their ratio. The sizes can be others. But, it is necessary to clearly imagine how the collected chair will look in a collected form, the pattern of which will be changed.
- Cut all the details.
- Place the parts of the patterns on the canvas to cut the outer membrane of the chair and fix it with pins. Keep in mind that the figure shows only half of the main part. That is, the fabric must be folded in half and the part on it so that the side A coincides with the bend. Then, having cut and unfold the part, you will receive a full main part of the chair (or rather its harvesting). The upper and lower parts are needed in a single copy, in the form as in the figure.
- Light all the details along the contour.
- Cut the details, leaving 2 cm for allowance for shining.
- Sour the main part with the bottom. Stitch the main seam, focusing on the mark.
- Wet and set up the upper main part, making the indentation for sewing the zipper.
- Sew the zipper-chip.
- Process all the seams with an open seam using an overlock so that the fabric does not stand along the edge.
- Repeat all these manipulations with the material for the inner bag.
- Insert the inner bag into the outer cover. Two bags are provided so that the upper part can be removed from time to time for washing.
- Fill the cavity of the chair with polystyrene granules. By the way, this is not the simplest part of the task, because The balls are completely uncontrollable, spilled out, roll under furniture, stick to their hands. You will have to search and collect them after such an operation for a long time, since they spill over the bag. What to advise? Do not rush, cut a small angle on a package with polystyrene so that you can control the process of pouring the granules. Open the zippers on the bags and insert the cut angle of the bag with the filler into the formed gap. Now, closing the fastener a bit and holding it with your hand so that the bag does not slip out of the bag, fall asleep polystyrene.
- Fasten the fasteners.
If desired, such a soft chair can be equipped with a handle for carrying. Such a handle is sewn from two rectangular strips of fabric, which are grinding on the long sides. Then the part is turned out. The short sides are sewn into the main seam of the workpiece for the chair in its upper part.
