There are a lot of options for caring for wicker furniture, but in order to perform the procedure correctly, you need to use the appropriate detergents. First of all, you should deal with the materials from which interior items are made.
Depending on the raw materials used, wicker furniture is divided into the following groups:
- products completely consisting of a rattan or vine,
- wooden products braided as decor with rods,
- combined products, i.e. Consisting not only of rods, but also of plywood, chipboard, having some metal or plastic parts, as well as soft seats.
When the type of furniture is installed, we proceed to the choice of detergents and cleaners. For objects completely made of a natural vine, a sufficiently soap solution based on shampoo and polish is sufficient.

Chemical purifiers destroy the texture of wood and vines, so they are suitable only for washing synthetic surfaces. There is no fundamental difference in choice, it is desirable that the drug contains alcohol and antistatics. Alcohol dissolves fat, and the surface begins to shine. Any means for cleaning glasses are suitable.

The modern market offers another option - wicker furniture is artificial. Since the manufacturing material is synthetic, for its cleaning it will be necessary to perform the following actions:

Furniture spots from synthetic meters are extremely rare, it is almost impossible to bring them out, but it is worth trying. To do this, use creamy cleaning products for the bathroom and gas stove.
Cleaning wooden furniture with weaving elements
For a house, they buy furniture with wooden basic and decorative weaving. The presence of wooden surfaces requires more careful care. Elements from the vine or rattan are also processed, like whole wicker furniture, and the tree according to the following methodology:
