Not in all places there is the possibility of creating a source of drinking water. In such a situation, people have to pay attention to alternative methods of obtaining water. This can be a water supply, which in the villages is very rare or transport delivery of water. In some cases, you can use a well, which is at a fairly large distance from the house.
Despite all this, many people still want to create their own well, albeit decorative. With the proper approach, you can build a really interesting object that will attract the attention of not only the owners of the house, but also passers -by.

First of all, we need a large barrel or a whole tank. Of course, the diameter of the container should be sufficient in order to create a well real in the dimensions of the well. In this case, you need to dig a small hole (up to 1 m), into which the tank (barrel) is immersed. At the bottom of the pit, you also need to create a small layer of sand. After placing the container into the recess, you need to slightly fill the void with soil.
There should be free space on the sides of the container. This is done so that the barrel becomes the basis for wood decoration. The base of the well must be protected in small logs.

If the object was created on the basis of wood, you need to immediately cover the surface with protective compounds. It can be an antiseptic or ordinary wood varnish. The second option is more reliable and durable.
Ultimately, the concrete ring can simply be painted or stylized for brickwork. With the proper approach, everything should turn out very well.
There is also another way. In this case, the concrete ring will be used as the basis for a full -fledged brickwork. This will create actually a strong well, which will become a decoration of the entire site. You can also use metal sheets to design a well. Despite the fact that this is not the most ideal option to decorate the landscape, the well will still look solid.
You can use metal pipes as a well racks. Of course, this option will not fit into the natural environment of the summer cottage in the best way, but this is actually a simple and reliable solution.
Creating a well cover is optional. In most cases, the object looks attractive without a cover and a drum. Very often, free space inside the ring is used as a small flower bed. In this case, a small platform is based in the place where the well cover is installed. The necessary volume of chernozem is also located here, after which you can safely plant flowers or some other plant crops.
In the same way, you can create flower beds around the well itself. A large number of various colors is always beautiful.
Decorative well and getting water from the well
As already mentioned, you can create wells only in separate areas. In other cases, the best option is the drilling of a full -fledged well, which will provide a whole farm with clean water.
In this case, the design of the classic well can be used to obtain water from the source. Of course, buckets will not work to pump water, since a separate tap is created for these purposes.
Thus, water from the well should fall into the tank, which is located right in the soil. Next, there is a decorative well itself. The void inside a large barrel (or concrete ring) will be used to arrange the necessary equipment. To obtain water from the tank, an electric pump is required. Accordingly, there is a need to conduct electricity directly to the well. At the top of the decorative object, no covers are required, and the assembly needs to make a small door in order to have access to the pump if necessary. The upper part of the object should be concreted so that rain water does not get inside. In order to get water, it is enough to turn the crane lever.
In this case, you can serve water directly into the home, as well as in parallel to the decorative well. This is a great solution if the country site has a large area.
